WBAC Midlands League Team photo

Well done to everyone who competed at the final match of the Midlands League at Dash. The results are available from the MCAA website.

It was a great occasion and I was so proud of you all – it was so rewarding watching all the athletes and officials celebrating promotion. More pictures are available on our club image gallery.

On the day the club broke two Div 3 league records and equalled another two. The women won the 4 x 400m in a time of of 4.00.6 breaking the the previous record which stood at 4.05.9.

Not to be out done the 4 x 100m men team also broke the league record breaking 44sec with a time of 43.5 beating the previous record of 43.6.

Jodie Harrison equalled the Div 3 record for the women 400m and Alex Nwenwu also equalled his own 110m league record of 14.9 set at the last match at Aldersley.

Well done to you all for the hard work over the season and to all the officials who turned up at every meeting ensuring we never lost any points away from the track and field events during the whole season.
