Ladies League Results

It was victory for W & B at Round 3 of the Midlands Ladies League (Division 4) which took place at Pingles Stadium in Nuneaton on Sunday 19th August 2007. Despite terrible weather conditions the team won with a total of 331 points against Halesowen, Nuneaton, Leamington, Rowheath, Banbury & Worcester. 

Midland Men’s League Results Final Round

Wolves & Bilston won the final Midland Mens Division 4 match at Telford on Saturday 4th August to secure promotion back to Division 3. In a close match we beat Birchfield into second place by 16pts on the day. The final league postions will have to be checked and confirmed by the MCAA office, but as it stands the postions are:1 W&B 252 Birchfield 23 (863.5)3 Burton 23 (859)4 Shrewsbury 205 Tamworth 176 Newport 16.57 Owls 14.58 Telford 5It’s been a great achievement for the men and the club to win promotion. I would like to congratulate all the athletes who performed so well over the four meetings. A big thank you also goes to all the officials and helpers who gave up their time to help and support the team. Midland Men’s League Results

Wolverhampton & Bilston produced their best result so far in the third League match at Burton on Saturday 7th July. With some excellent performances on the day by all the athletes we won the match by 32.5 points beating Birchfield into second place.

With the one meeting left we are lying 2nd overall and need to finish in the top two places to have a chance of being promoted the final meeting will take place at Telford on Saturday 4th August . Here are the match results and the league postions after three rounds.

Midland Women’s League – Match 3

This match is being held in Nuneaton, at Pingles Stadium, Avenue Road, Nuneaton, Warwickshire CV11 4LX. Teams competing in Division 4 are Banbury, B Rowheath, Halesowen, Leamington, Nuneaton, W&B and Worcester.
