Clubmark Presentation

Stephanie Cameron down to the club to present with our Clubmark certificate. Here is what she said about the club:

Congratulations on Achieving Clubmark status once again:

I have compiled some thoughts / notes for you which I am more than happy to be shared with the club (coaches / members / parents).

During my recent visit to Wolverhampton and Bilston on a very busy Tuesday evening I was incredibly pleased to see a busy bustling club that is clearly thriving. Having arrived at the club at the beginning of training it was great to see groups moving into their areas, runners going out road running, children moving into the age or event groups and coaches registering athletes as they arrived. It was very apparent early on into my visit that the criteria for accreditation was going to be hit.

I had the opportunity to speak with parents, athletes and coaches. And would like to share some of their comments with you.

Parent comments: ‘Wolverhampton and Bilston was friendly and welcoming buy generic lorazepam online from the day we contacted them about moving our child to the club. The coaches are fantastic and regularly set goals with athletes and communicate with parents’

Coach comments: ‘The club is run professionally, but the kids are always having fun’

Athlete comments: why do you like Wolverhampton and Bilston? ‘I just enjoy training and have made some great friends’

The club have a fantastic venue in Aldersley and are clearly well accommodated for. Seeing parents socialising whilst their children train is an excellent way to engage with parents in a relaxed environment and I’m told the free parking goes down well to.

It is excellent to see that nearly every parent I spoke with knew of Tracy and her role within the club.

Special mentions to Noel, Simon and Tracy on their hard work during this process.

Once again congratulations on this and your Queens award and I look forward to see you.

 Pleasure working with you.
