Two athletes represented Wolverhampton and Bilston AC in the Shropshire Championships on Saturday 9th May 2015. Under 15, Niall Price from Bridgnorth competed in the 100m and 200m sprints and in doing so broke a record by a current Wolverhampton and Bilston athlete, held since 1991. Niall’s finishing time was 11.48sec in the 100m. He also competed in the 200m gaining gold medal status with a time of 23.70sec. Also competing in the under 17 age group was Ellis soma no prescription needed Greatrex who represented both Wolverhampton and Bilston AC and Thomas Telford School. Ellis who competed in the first round heats finished the 100m in 11.39sec and went on to win the final in 11.46sec. He also competed in the 200m gaining silver medal position with a time of 23.15sec and finally he finished first place in the 400m in 53.16sec, with a heat time of 52.70sec. Both athletes ran remarkably well and represented the club outstandingly. Well done to you both!
