The standard of competition was high at Cofton Park on Saturday as you may have seen on Sky TV. The outstanding result was from Phil Nicholls who known to many of us but runs for Tipton. Phil came 7th in the Senior Event and maybe selected to run in the world cross championships to be held in Poland later this month. Dave Smith had a late call up for the team and came 201st, everyone at the club was very pleased he got picked for the team as a fitting finale to his great season.
In the Ladies race Tess came 55th and Audrey was 159th, standards were high in a field full of internationals and our girls ran well. Of local buy ativan in mexico interest was Clare Martin from Telford who came 30th. In the u13 girlsAshleigh Miles was 217th. Jess Clark was 168th in the U15, Hannah Campion was 133rd and Kay Oakley 134th in the U17 and Rebekah Warren was 138th in the U20.
The junior races were incredibly competitive, this was highligted in the Under13 race where Ryan Hodgkiss came 41st and he was only 40 seconds behind the winner, there were 300 runners who finished within 3 minutes of each other. In the U15 Jamie Ward came 165th and Harry Halford 243th. Jack Bonser came 256th in the U17 race. The full results are not on the www.ukcau.co.uk site yet but are on the Power of 10 site.
