Congratulations W&BAC!
Wolverhampton & Bilston were amongst the winners on a night of celebration and recognition for athlete’s volunteers, officials and clubs in the region. The event took place at the Aston Villa Stadium Birmingham on Friday 19th September and the club won two awards on the night.
1. U17 Athlete of the Year – Alex Nwenwu
2. Junior Club of the Year
The winners received a trophy and a bottle of champagne on the night. The following club officials were also shortlisted as finalist in the following categories.
Noel Mckakly – Official of the Year and Senior Volunteer of the Year
Colin Thompson – Senior Volunteer of the Year.
Ken Evans – Regional Council Award for Services to Athletics.
Each of the nominated finalists was presented with a framed certificate.
The club was also recognised for achieving the coveted club mark accreditation which means we are a safe, effective, child-friendly club. Mary Harding, club president, with Colin Thompson collected the award from Mike Summers, England Athletics new Chief Executive on behalf of the club.

Circuit training is available to club members from 14 years upwards.

Well done to everyone who took part in the Goodrich 10k on Sunday 14th September, we had a great turn out with 155 runners turning out to race. The results are here to download, thought these are still subject to change as they have yet to be double-checked.
