TURKEY TROT CALLED OFF
It is with great sadness that we are having to postpone this year’s 2022 Turkey Trot until the SUNDAY 22nd January 2023, 11.30am.
Wolverhampton and Bilston’s race team have been out this morning checking the paths and planning several options for start and finish areas as the management team at Aldersley’s WV Active took the decision that we couldn’t use their running track or the 3G pitches.
The stadium has not had any gritting of its carparks and our proposed alternative start and finish areas were at midday today still extremely dangerous due to ice. With the projected weather forecast and temperature we cannot see this changing to a safer state. Please see attached photographs.
As a race team we have tried every which way to keep this event on. We have now set a new date of the SUNDAY 22nd January 2023 with a 11.30am start.
Your options:
A: Stay as you are and race on the SUNDAY 22nd January 2023– your number will be ready to pick up as normal – nothing else to do. See you there.
B: Contact Stuweb for a full refund – very sorry to have lost you.
