After a flurry of activity in recent times it was a very quiet week for the club with only a couple out there competing. I’ve trawled through the Power of 10 website, tried to keep an eye on what people have been doing on Strava, tried to keep on top of social media for any competition clues but there’s been very little. There may not have been much but what I did find was fantastic.
There was some midweek action at Nuneaton last week in their Night of 200 PBs and Tammy Saunders didn’t disappoint the organisers doing exactly what the title suggested and clocking a PB. Tammy recorded a new personal best of 24.85 to take 1st place in her heat.
And Jack Pickett put weeks and weeks of hard training to the test at the weekend when he took part in the Helena Tipping Wrexham 10k. Jack has been putting in a structured block of solid work and was rewarded with a lightning quick PB of 30.31 to take 5th place in the race in what was an elite field.
