The younger age groups may have already brought their track seasons to a close, but the Seniors were out in action at Telford for their third fixture in the MCAA T&F league in Division 3(NE). Although, almost a week on, the results have not made it onto the internet, I have managed to get hold of a copy thanks to Claudio Albanese.

He placed 4th in the A race in 72.1 on debut.
Oscar Davies claimed an impressive win in the 1500 A race in 4.17.0, the runner up may have only been a fraction of a second behind, but Oscar was well in control for maximum points. Away from the orange oval there was some action in mid Wales in the annual Race the Train race where runners set off from Tywyn with the aim to run up the valley and back over a 14 mile course before the train makes the same journey. Of the trio competing a couple got back before the train with Jake Brown placing 12th in 1.36.45, Dan Maskew finished in 1.38.21 for 15th place and Ben Pilsbury completed the threesome with 2.02.04 to take 134th.
